Since the start of 2008 we have been running our 'State of the Industry Survey' on a quarterly basis to find out how construction businesses are dealing with the effects of the credit crunch. The survey is run in association with the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Construction Industry Group.
Completed by senior directors and managers from across the whole construction industry supply chain, the survey has become an excellent barometer of the current confidence levels in the industry and the future outlook for the next 12 months. Many companies use the survey indicators in their internal reporting.
In particular the survey clearly shows how the construction industry is performing in terms of market conditions, sales levels and marketing budgets.
